Driven by a personal and professional commitment to sustainable living, Homesol Building Solutions is Eastern Ontario’s leading provider of environmental and energy efficient building consulting services for contractors and renovating homeowners. Founded in 1999, Homesol Building Solutions and its team’s collective zest for low-carbon living has established the company as the real deal in the world of energy efficiency.

Led by Ross Elliott, with over 25 years of experience as a licensed energy auditor and contractor, the Homesol team has completed thousands of energy evaluations throughout Eastern Ontario. In 2007 Homesol was awarded EnerQuality Evaluator of the Year.

Working with homeowners, designers, custom contractors and over 35 large builders and developers, including Richcraft, Urbandale, Braebury, Monarch, Claridge, Larco, Metric and RND, Homesol provides the following services:

 With an unwavering commitment to sustainable living, Elliott, along with this wife Kat, built the world’s first bubble green house. Dubbed "LivelyUp Winter Harvest", the four-season structure holds dish soap between two layers of plastic, providing insulation to keep their organic vegetables at comfortable temperatures, without relying on electricity.
